Create a Responsive Navigation Bar with SASS
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!
How to get started
Navigate to the directory used in this project with the command:
cd tasks/sass/mediumInstall all the necessary dependencies and SASS:
npm iOpen styles.scss file and start implementing your solution!
Description
In this task, you need to create a responsive navigation bar for a website using SASS in the styles.scss file.
The navigation bar should adapt its layout for both desktop and mobile devices.
Requirements
- Use the
$primary-colorvariable for the navbar background color. - Use the
$secondary-colorvariable for the navbar link hover color. - The navbar should be responsive for mobile view.
- Do not modify the
index.htmlfile.
How to run
Make sure you are in the correct directory:
cd tasks/sass/mediumCompile the SASS code to CSS:
sass styles.scss styles.cssIf you are using VS Code and have for example Live Server extension, you can simply open index.html with the server and check how the navbar looks. If it looks correct, you are ready to make a pull request!
If you do not have Live Server extension, you'll find information about installing and how to use it here.
To work with this issue, you need to have npm and NodeJS installed to your local machine.
