1. Take one shank, freeze the other
2. Add shank to pot
3. Add 10 cm deep water to biggest pot and bring to boil
4. Once boiling, turn down heat to simmer, remove foam
5. Chop 1/2 onion into small piece and add to broth
6. Add 1 tbsp of salt
7. Boil for 1.5 hrs
