What exactly is node-slim?

I am trying to understand what exactly is node-slim. Is it node stripped off of JS dependencies inside the deps folder, like for example, acorn, acorn-walk, npm and undici?

Context: I am trying to package node, in a modular fashion in Guix, using shared libraries, and it seems to me that quite a few packages are JS/TS projects and not C/C++. I am looking for node-minimal, so that I can build the full version of node to also include the JS packages.

There is nothing from Node.js removed, it refers to being based off Debian "slim" images
