I noticed that npm segfaults on "arm32v7/node:8-stretch" on my device (ARTIK710 fedora24 docker-common-1.10.3-55.gite03ddb8.fc24.armv7hl) same problem with node:9, while "node:10" does work fine (same ubuntu:18.04 's npm armhf deb package)

This is not specific to docker-node , can you tell how are built those shipped binaries ?

I'll have to check again with https://nodejs.org/en/blog/release/v8.15.1/ once published for ARMv6 too
