I have to admit, I don’t quite get why you’re opening another issue then? I’m closing this as a duplicate, this will be fixed in the next 8.x release (expected early next week).

Because at the time I opened this issue, the other one explicitly said "linux," and because I haven't taken the time to check this on a mac.

@StoneCypher Ah, right. In that case it’s usually easier to mention that in the original thread, otherwise there’s a risk that the conversation spreads across multiple issues and things get confusing really quickly. :)
