It would be useful to have documentation for us dummies. The current documentation of properties is great, but requires an understanding face detection and camera control parameters.
It would be useful to have something like:
If your screen resolution is widthXheight, and the face is in the top/middle/bottom of the screen, the following face detection parameters would be ideal. Alternatively: A formula for figuring out ideal face detection parameters.
If you wish for the face to fill the screen, use these parameters. If you wish for the face and torso to fill the screen, those parameters. If you wish the whole body....
If the subject moves around a lot....
If the lighting is bad....
While brute force experimentation will eventually get me there, it would be nice to have a higher degree of confidence in what I'm doing.
Thanks again
ETA:
Discovered that in the Effects Filter version of the plugin, "Show Face Detection Results" provides good graphics to help with parameter setting. I could not get the same graphics with the Video Filter "Face Tracker for PTZ". I know I might be doing something wrong. So any help appreciated.
