Is there any way to automate the step 3?
Browse to http://localhost:9000/setup (replace "localhost:9000" by your own URL) and follow the setup instructions.

I cannot remember if database propagation starts automatically or initial GET is required to initiate the propagation. A small curl step could be added easily. For me this is good manual step to verify upgrade
