% - The circuit implements two serial sources: one for the stimulus
% presentation (signal) and one for the background noise.
% - When starting the circuit, the noise source buffer is filled
% with broadband noise.
% - When starting a run, a soft trigger switches on the
% noise source, fills the signal buffer with the first half of the
% first stimulus and allows the scanner trigger to be received.
% - Each time a trigger is received, a trial counter is increased
