I am trying to send CFG to an address but when I read the qr code it appears: Transaction author public key not found.

Thanks

This error usually indicates that Vault does not have the corresponding private key for the transaction, meaning that you are attempting to sign something you do not own. If you believe there is a bug, please provide the steps I can follow to reproduce the issue.

The error with CFG was having sent a few to the vault without having first created the CFG Derived Key, then it detected me it was the unique address of polkadot and since then I have not been able to transfer them. Then, I created the cfg derived key and from there I was able to transfer them without problem. I imagine that the first ones are already lost. On the other hand, I did a test with moonbeam and I also have a problem with the QR code to add the address to Nova.

Getting the same message. I have an account which I share across networks, on Polkaverse I get this very error. If I use the same account without signer, it works flawlessly.

ok, I understand what happened. at least on my side.

  1. I have created a wallet on Polkadot Vault.
  2. I have connected that wallet on SubWallet, using the Polkadot QR code (as opposed to the Kusama QR code).
  3. Subwallet gave me addresses for multiple networks, such as Kusama.
  4. I have sent KSM tokens to the KSM address given to me
  5. When attempting to send some of those KSM out, I was given the error message "Transaction author public key not found"

edit: I have created an issue on the SubWallet github as I believe it is mostly an issue on that side.
