I would prefer updatability via LVFS/fwupd, but via dualsensectl would be a good start.
For this, however, the URL of the firmware file must be known and there must be a way to install the firmware update under Linux.
The second is probably more difficult than finding out the URL.
In my opinion, the best would be when multiple people are reaching out to Sony, that we want them to upload the DualSense Controller firmware to LVFS. If enough people do this, Sony might consider doing it.
