nx release version - conventional commits other than fix or feat for change detection

I noticed when commits are not of type fixor feat since the last release nx release version outputs No changes were detected using git history and the conventional commits standard.

Both true or { "changelog":true, "semverBump": "patch" } does not enable the commit type for change detection. I tried this documentation here: https://nx.dev/recipes/nx-release/customize-conventional-commit-types. Has anybody a working example to share?
