Can not run on Simulator #1

Hello,
I want to try the demo on simulator but it crashed since simulator does not support Metal. I googled this workaround: https://medium.com/the-sup-app/bare-metal-working-with-metal-and-the-simulator-70e085e3a45#.10gha3r5w

Is there any hints for me to try this project with simulator? Thanks!
