First of, thanks for filling all these bug reports! It really helps.

Do you have another language other from English in your keyboard settings? I mean, it's usually because Daino Notes detects a right-to-left language, but I assume that's not the case? Maybe that's another Wayland issue?

Yes, a german keyboard, qwertz layout.

It should not be, I dont have any issues with wayland, and never had with input or displaying text
