FEATURE: allow us to resize when dynamic width is enabled

even though dynamic width is enabled we should be able to resize it. for instance when i open many folder it gets big but when i close it doesnt get its old size

when i open folders it becomes like this

but when i close it is still like that

so i think we should be able to resize
