Verbatim scientific name of biological entity specified elsewhere

Issue

We are recommending to not modify the scientificName provided by the originator without her permission, and focus on correct scientificNameID. However, especially for historical data, I often wants to keep the original term which could be in non-English or with strange abbreviations. We shouldn't use remarks while we have a flexible eMoF. Why not providing this value using a new P01 term? The record is of course linked to event & occurrence.
Verbatim scientific name of biological entity specified elsewhere with a textual P06 (XXXX).
verbatimIdentification term is cool, but it doesn't belong to the occurrence extension. One would need the taxon extension linked to event and occurrence and anyway there is no such extension, but only a Core. I've already tried it.
I'm not asking yet to create this P01 term, which is also very useful for SeaDataNet, since the discussion is still open.
Anyway, we should decide and update the guidelines.

Thank you.

@pieterprovoost Maybe OBIS could interpret this value and save it as verbatimIdentification in OBIS CSV file?
