Opal plugin that provides a Genotype VCF store, with basic analytics using bcftools and htslib.
Opal is OBiBa’s core database application for biobanks or epidemiological studies.
The following executables are required for Jennite VCF Store plugin to operate:
- bcftools : VCF/BCF file management (sample list extraction, statistics, filtering)
- tabix : VCF/BCF file indexing
- bgzip : VCF/BCF file compression
These tools can be installed as system-specific packages or compiled from source code available at: bctools and htslib download.
