This might make things a bit cleaner and simpler (and who knows, may even solve some printing issues!)

@dkess I think I'm not discouraged by that since they say "Our more modern printers seem to be fine, with one exception where driverless printing had odd duplexing issues that went away when we reverted to PPD printing."

I checked and our printers do support Airprint, but as with any change to printing, I'll have my finger ready on the revert button :)
