Some users (see kit-ty-kate#2) seems to want a new release and I think it's time.
Can I do it ? I'll just merge #24 before.

Sure! Thanks for helping.

(As explained, I'd rather do a release without #24 to not break compatibility for existing users, but if you're willing to do the release work, you get to decide exactly what's in the release.)

An announce to the mailing-list should be sent, recalling what Macaque is and summarizing the changes in the release. Do you want to write something? I offer to proofread it -- just post a draft here for example. Otherwise I'll write something.

I prefer doing a simple release with #24. Doing two, with and without is too complicated and I think nobody have such a requirements.

I think it would indeed be better to do two releases, but you do as you can.
