🐞 [BUG] Quik shows a wrong sender of a message

Describe the bug
Quik shows a wrong sender of the contacts list for a just received message. This is a grave security hole.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Il cannot reproduce this random issue but I see this bug another time some weeks before. Not all contacts are affected by this issue.
But Messagerie application from Huawei/Android has not this issue. This SMS is well affected to the right contact.

Expected behavior
It is very important that Quik does not mismatch the message with the contacts list. Trusting for this is very important for security.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: Huawei PRA-LX1
• OS: Android 8.0 from the builder
• App Version 4.0.7

I can confirm this issue. Just now, another message received in a wrong conversation with a wrong contact.

I am just installing v4.0.8.beta. For now, all work fine but as this issue is random, wait and see.

Came here to report this same bug... can confirm that 4.0.8-beta does not fix the issue. I am seeing it in a few of my MMS messages. It is always doing it to certain contacts, and when it does it displays the same erroneous contact. Swapping the SMS app to be Google Messages the contacts display properly.

I can also confirm I have the same bug, but mine happened when I set up a new device (From Pixel 7 Pro to Pixel 8 Pro) and fresh installed it. Google Messages shows everything correctly. Every person with a named contact shows up as the name of 1 specific contact, and tapping into it (to switch to the Phone app's contact page) it switches to a different, completely unrelated contact. 4.0.8-beta did not fix it for me either, even after re-syncing messages.
