tcpping throw exitcode 5120 but command is valid

Hi! I have a weird situation where i have in logs:

Sep 05 21:49:07 monitor.BLABLA.ro smokeping[3685]: /usr/local/bin/tcpping -C -x 5 AAAA.BBBB.ch 80 returned with exit code 5120. run with debug enabled to get more information at /usr/share/smokeping/Smokeping.pm line 1807.

but the same command runs happily in terminal:

/usr/local/bin/tcpping -C -x 5 AAAA.BBBB.ch 80
AAAA.BBBB.ch : 32.993 33.115 32.902 33.043 32.917

echo $?
0

the probe configuration is just:

+ TCPPing
binary = /usr/local/bin/tcpping
forks = 1

For reference the above mentioned piece of code is (smokeping 2.8.2):
