not notarized by apple

Just downloaded to try it out, but it seems like either the codesigning or notarization is off.

This is normal. I would need to pay Apple $99 for their Developer Account in order to get this notarized at all and that is an expense I probably don’t want to deal with given that this is for all intends and purposes, a side project.

And really imo Notarization does basically nothing besides getting rid of that dialog box. If you are determined to get an app running anyway you would just go to Privacy & Security to get it done.

I have a developer account and wouldn't mind signing and notarizing the occasional build, if that would interest you. It doesn't look like it needs a lot of updates :)

@glyph Eh... if you want to, feel free to attached a notarized build here, I would be happy to replace the build on the Release page with it. :)

Yeah, I don't think I would need to update it much either unless Apple break/deprecate the APIs it's using.
