Lag when moving forward/backward with waveform

Describe the bug

During media observation (.mp4), there is a lag when clicking frame forward/backward on the waveform during observation.

For example, if you frame forward 3 times then want to go back a frame by clicking on frame backward, it will actually bring you forward a frame instead of backward, vice versa.

I have tried with multiple desktops and laptops, the issue persists.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: [Windows 11 Home], 64 bit operating system
• Processor: 11th Gen Intel i7
• RAM 16.0 GB
