How to add new messages

Hi, I’ve just come across this project and got my Samsung ASHP up and running very straightforwardly thanks to the great instructions here. I would like to retrieve some more messages but have no knowledge of c++. From my reading of the code it seems like new messages have to be added in multiple files even if just for the nasa protocol. Does anybody have a “how to add a message” document which describes how to go about this?

There’s a python project here which has a good list of messages which be retrieved from some ASHPs. I quite like the way it seems like adding a message is a single call
