A widow icon called 'gjs' keep popup and disappear when using external screen

Ubuntu 24.04, Gnome 46 with System Extensions only

With dual screen setup, a window icon called 'gjs', seems like the workspace itself, keep popup and disappear after login. The loop ended until I focused on the external screen.

Also, after unplug the external screen, the same icon only show and disappear once very quickly after login.

I have the same problem. I found a work around by disabling the "Desktop Icons NG (DING)" extension.

In my case it seems like DING keeps opening a full screen Java Script (GJS - Gnome java Script) window repeatedly. When I have "Move window when maximized' selected, my desktop keeps jumping between workspaces.

I never use desktop icons, so turning off DING to get Fullscreen... to work is a no brainer, but your milage may vary.
