FYI - we made a recent change in the OpenTelemetry .NET repo to use OTLP -> Prometheus https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-dotnet/tree/main/docs/metrics/getting-started-prometheus-grafana#collect-metrics-using-prometheus.
