Prior issues have been opened inquiring about Xamarin and Mono support.

However, OpenTelemetry .NET has only ever been officially tested on .NET implementations including .NET (formerly .NET Core) and .NET Framework. Thus, we cannot make any guarantees that OpenTelemetry .NET supports .NET implementations such as Xamarin or Mono.

In order to claim support for other implementations of .NET we would need to add test suites to cover them. This issue can be used to track any knowledge of known issues.
