Can we abort an in-flight Codex SDK run programmatically?

Hi everyone 👋

I’m wondering if there’s a way to abort or cancel an ongoing Codex SDK run programmatically.

For example, if a long-running generation or code execution request is in progress, can it be safely interrupted through the API or SDK similar to how a user can manually stop an interactive turn in the CLI?

If this isn’t currently supported, are there any recommended workarounds or plans to add cancellation support in future SDK releases?
