Use Case

As a user I need to update the firmware code on my systems. Other related functions are promoting and deleting images.

This story improves the usability of the current design by addressing the following items:

  • Intuitiveness on which image is running
  • Clarity on what the current activated images are and what they will be on the next reboot
  • Updating terminology to match what customers are used to (Functional and active) is confusing
  • (For double file) Support uploading multiple images at the same time to avoid errors caused by a need for concurrent images.
    -Support for a single image file containing both BMC and server code
