I/O Enclosure Settings

Use Case

As a PE/SSR/Admin, I need to be able to see the enclosure settings so that I can diagnose issues related to them or to the system in general.

Design Review Workflow

1. Each design iteration will have a comment section
2. The section will include:
   • A title with the iteration number
   • Any description or specific feedback the designer is requesting
   • Screenshots of the workflow
3. Based on community and user feedback, we create a comment for the new iteration and repeat these steps

New Design

Following features were removed on discussion with internal users and engineering team:

1. Ability to update firmware for drawers
2. Firmware update status, start time
3. Firmware update policy
4. Loop update
5. Unit address and Rack address
6. Enclosure active/inactive status and ability to remove an inactive enclosure
7. I/O Enclosure Trace: This data will be collected by a resource dump with a specific macro. The design provides a link from this page to the Dumps page for the same.
