I have done the following steps to enable seo url, but i couldnt get it to work.

1.SEO url turned on in backend
2.Modified .htaccess.txt to .htaccess
3.Updated a unique keyword for categories and products

And i have my project in subdirectory of my server.

I cant find a solution for this (displaying 404 page only), expecting a reply to this issue soon.

Thank you!

What server are you using? I'm assuming apache. If so, do you have mod_rewrite enabled?

This is a bug tracker - so next time post in the forums and not on github.

Since your install is in a sub directory you need to modify the htaccess file to reflect the folder structure your store is in.

Follow the instructions here:

http://docs.opencart.com/display/opencart/SEO+keywords

Also - the instructions are in the htaccess file - just read the comments.

Go ahead and close this issue as it isn't a bug.

Good luck!
