What steps did you take and what happened:
[A clear and concise description of what the bug is.]
I've installed fresh ROSA hosted cluster, installed OpenDataHub 2.1 via OperatorHub from the fast channel, and created DataScienceCluster with the default options.
I then go to the Project opendatahub, Menu > Networking > Routes and click on the odh-dashboard Location URL.
I Launch application on the Jupyter tile which gets me to the /notebookController/spawner page which lists Notebook images
Minimal Python 2023.1
Jupyter Data Science 2023.1
CUDA 2023.1
PyTorch 2023.1
TensorFlow 2023.1
TrustyAI
Code Server
R Studio
CUDA - R Studio
Elyra Notebook Image
The image selected by default is Code Server.
When select Jupyter Data Science 2023.1, its name changes to Jupyter Data Science 2023.1 (default).
What did you expect to happen:
If Jupyter Data Science 2023.1 is the default, it should have been selected by default. If the default should be Code Server, Jupyter Data Science 2023.1 should not add the (default) when selected.
Anything else you would like to add:
[Miscellaneous information that will assist in solving the issue.]
With OpenDataHub 1.9 installed and used in the same scenario (just odh project instead of opendatahub), the list of Notebook images is
Minimal Python 2023.1
Jupyter Data Science 2023.1 (default)
CUDA 2023.1
PyTorch 2023.1
TensorFlow 2023.1
TrustyAI
and the one selected by default is Jupyter Data Science 2023.1 (default). That is much more believable and consistent.
Environment:
Kubeflow version: (version number can be found at the bottom left corner of the Kubeflow dashboard): I have no idea where to find the Kubeflow dashboard
kfctl version: (use kfctl version): I have no idea where to run the command
Kubernetes platform: (e.g. minikube) ROSA hosted started today
