Spec

  • Users can drag components within a unit to reorder them
  • Behavior is similar to reordering units in existing course authoring experience
  • Long components can still be dragged as expected, either by collapsing or using directional change as a heuristic for moving up/down past other units
  • Components can also be dragged past long units, likely by collapsing their previews

In Scope

  • Drag icon shows up on top of components in units
  • Drag placeholder shows where a unit will be dropped
  • Drag behavior

Not in scope

  • Overflow menu items e.g. "move up" / "move down"
