Screen lock on Android causes video to stop playing

Steps to reproduce
Set screen lock time to short
Start video in app
Screen will lock out and stop video

I can work on it maybe, but the issue is that I don't have a dev setup now with develop branch, but only a redwood dev instance, which doesn't allow me to work on the develop mobile app branch.
