Switch for simple ON and OFF function for dimmer

I want provide a feature, where the user have the possibility to send ON and OFF commands to the dimmer like this:

Advantages:

• Usage of the last used brightness for turning on a dimmable lamp
• No need to define a extra switch Item and need of extra space in the app
• No problems anymore to turn of the dimmable light and open the menu instead of moving the slider from right to left

Disadvantage:

• The slider is a little bit smaller

For me, this is working already fine, but I'am not sure if there is a general interest for this feature, or at least maybe it should be somehow configurable, maybe on item basis with some tags.

What do you think about this?

@mgeramb : It would be great to align such a change with the other UI. Would be great if you could push for an alignment.

There is a flag in the sitemap syntax for sliders switchSupport that is meant for this and works in the Android app. Rather than adding an extra switch button, it will simply switch on/off if touched outside of the slider. Is this possible to be implemented in iOS app? That would make it consistent, and is a nice feature to have. My dimmers have support for on/off switching and remembering the previous state. The binding accepts on/off. This is the missing part to make that work for iOS (my iPad, I use an Android phone).

switchSupport is already decoded from JSON in iOS openHAB code.
Should be a feasible change on SliderUITableViewCell in good old InterfaceBuilder.
