Look into openmp support in kim-api #66

Things to understand:

What compilers and flags are needed to build kim-api and items using openmp?
Is it possible to have individual items built with openmp, when the main kim-api library is not?
Would we need to have two completely separate binary builds (one with and one without openmp)?

cmake has the FindOpenMP module; learn how that is to be used.
