What Is The Difference To free-jqgrid

There is another jqgrid fork here https://github.com/free-jqgrid/jqGrid What is the difference?

Is one project a superset of the other or have you addressed different bugs with jqgrid?

After jqGrid changed its licence two forks were made as unfortunately we failed to work together. I suspect the other fork is more active however.

Is it by accident that you failed to work together or was it philosophical differences?
i.e. is there any reason to not merge the two projects so that all the fixes are in one place and it is clearer for new people which to use and where to contribute patches?
