jquery minimum version needed

Hi all.

Maybe we should do jquery 1.8.3 minimum version needed.
1.8.3 is the last version (november 2012) before 1.9 (that include major changes).
Between 1.7 and 1.8.3 are mainly bugfixes.

Hi!

I think before bumping the required minimum version, we should remove stuff that is already deprecated in 1.7 (like the prop/attr change in 1.6 that @OlegKi mentioned), and maybe push out at least one release so that we have something people can use without worrying about dependencies. Maybe we should start defining some milestones for better planning
