Bug: IBM Cloud Virtual Servers default to not use IMDS and there is no configuration variable in OCP Installer #8983

Install types impacted:

  • ☑️ IPI (automated install with openshift-install)
  • ☑️ UPI (semi-manual installation on customised infrastructure)

What happened?

Missing option to enable IMDS for IBM Cloud Virtual Servers. All control and worker nodes will have IMDS disabled.

What you expected to happen?

Configurable variable to enable IMDS for IBM Cloud Virtual Servers, in parallel to the IMDS config var for AWS EC2
