According to the DT PSA /var and/or /home should be placed on separate partitions to avoid outage when root fs is filled over. Our current measures (logrotate and such) are generally mitigating danger, but are not capable covering this completely (logs may be produced faster then logrotate is actually processing them, and this happened in reality). Consider measures to separate those partitions away from root (either split root disk or add new disks)

our logrotate is only running at night (once a day) and during this time we can easily get overfilled
