Important notices

Before you add a new report, we ask you kindly to acknowledge the following:

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Unbound Plugin uses whitelist (iffy language) and blocklists (good language).

As far as I can tell, upstream use whitelist and blacklist, so Opnsense has already addressed half of the issue. :)

Describe the solution you like

Replace UI and variable references to Whitelist with Allowlist. I'm happy to contribute, test, and write PRs.

Thanks @fichtner -- Created 8305. I've been able to use the feature (allowlist) as expected on my OPNsense 25.1.r_38-amd64 system.
