Keep the menu open - how to fix?

Hi,
my team is using Orchid due to the ability to link code into the documentation. A very useful feature that we're very thankful about :)

Currently, the left hand menu collapses every time the user clicks something new.
We would like the menu to stay open, making it clear to our users which article they are currently on and what's also in that section. I imagine that we're not the first ones to think of such a need. With some input about how to do this in a good way, one of us can make a PR, fixing this issue not only for us but also for everyone else.

Hoping to get some pointers about how to fix this problem for everyone :)
