'mysql_native_password' cannot be loaded

Description of issue

Hello,
I am deploying my db to gcp (MySQL server), since we use dev containers we cannot directly install the mysql client to connect to the proxy server due to some dependencies.

I added the homebrew feature to dev container and I tried to connect to the server as a root user. I got this error. Am I on the right track and what's causing this error?
