### Description of issue

Glade is a GUI tool for laying out GTK+ user interfaces. It is currently at version 3.40+. Unfortunately, versions after 3.8.x dropped support for GTK 2.x, and there is still a lot of code that requires GTK < 3.0.

I was unable to install an old Glade using `glade@3.8.5`, and jumped through some hoops with `brew extract` and finding an appropriate commit hash. And even this didn't work.

Is there any way to keep Glade 3.8.x alive as a regular formula?

If upstream keeps supporting it you can make a pull request to add it as a versioned formula
