I just wrote a language definition for F5 iRules. The language definition is based on the TCL language definition contributed by Peter Chaplin, but with lost of RegEx adjustments to improve detection in edge cases, boost processing speed and also to include F5 specific additions to the TCL environment.
With 10kbyte the definition set is a heavy weight, but the processing speed is actually faster than the original TCL language definition while the detection rate for more complex coding's is also improved.
