Files plugin, no update until scan interval changed

I have my Files plugin set up like this:

and I routinely see this behavior:

1. Create a new file or directory
2. Go to bed, get up the next day
3. In Albert, type in the new file name. It is not found.
4. Open the Files trigger settings, change "Scan interval" to 10 min and immediately back to 5 min.
5. In Albert, type in the new file name. It is found.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
