Hi @bart-schaefer, I was planned to implement a system to import/export saved connections in future releases. I think that the way suggested by you is the best one, with an option to chose to export connections and/or tabs, generating encrypted files. Its surely something i will implement! |

I use Antares on both a Ubuntu desktop and a MacBook Pro. I would like a way to move saved database connections and tabs from one to the other.
Ideally, exporting a connection would also export all its associated tabs, but the ability to export tabs separately would also be helpful. Note this means export the query editor text and tab state, not the query results. Copy-paste of course works for the query editor but doesn't include the autocommit setting and selected schema.
It would further be ideal if an exported connection and/or tab was encrypted with a password chosen at time of export, to conceal database credentials and table structure. Importing would then request this password.
