Why can't Github Desktop find the files?

I uploaded a lot of things to the local repository. When I committed, the "frontend" folder was not committed. It is a directory with 41000 files and folders.

Why doesn't GitHub read it correctly? I have been searching for information in Google, but I haven't found anything
