Nuget package error when downloading with Visual Studio Package Manager

I managed to upload my nuget package onto a GitHub private package registry but when i download it, i get this error:

I've tried to download it via curl and was successful and the credentials match my Nuget.config.
Not sure how else to proceed. This is the first time it has happened.

I think something might be wrong with nuget push.
When i generate the package, it unzips just fine.
When i push it to my github package registry, download it via curl and unzip it, i get this:

We've been seeing the same issue for a day now. Downloaded packages are not installed.
System.IO.InvalidDataException: Found invalid data while decoding.
Before uploading to GitHub Packages everything is fine with the package.

The errors are different, but the essence is the same, the package is broken.

The issue we most likely had was with the NuGet.CommandLine package version
We started pushing package with this command and everything is fine now
dotnet nuget push '*.nupkg' --source https://nuget.pkg.github.com/... --api-key ....
