When in a project board view, screen readers do not read column headers as you press left and right arrow keys to move through the different columns

That's just a simple board with "todo", "in progress", and "Done" statuses

Move through the grid using up and down arrow keys. Screen readers would rightly output the issue title

Then move using the left and right arrow keys. I would expect to hear the column header along with the issue title, but the column header is not spoken.
