Performing an SSO login from the code search results page loses the query

1. I'm logged in
2. I visit this code search that looks in a couple of GitHub orgs: (org:openedx OR org:edx) NOT is:archived splash
3. I'm presented with an SSO prompt indicating I should sign in to the edx org to see more results:
   
4. I follow the prompt
5. I'm returned to a blank code search rather than to the search I had previously made:
   

It's not a huge deal, as I can use the back button 2-3 times and get my search query back, but it is annoying.
